Fully insured rental car is included in our prices.

For guests who dont want a rental car we arrange free airport transfer. Further we also offer free transport to our activities & excursions for guests who dont want a rental car.

The Resort:

Our modern apartment hotel in the quiet village of Jomtien is located on the promenade. Here you have walking distance to lots of restaurants and nearby markets which are open daily.

Athena Resort offers modern and well-equipped apartments ideally suited for a Longstay trip. Our accommodation offers apartments with both one and two bedrooms.

The apartments are tastefully furnished and feature all amenities such as WiFi and flat-screen TVs. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, complete with dishwasher, washing machine, drying rack and cleaning materials available in the apartment.

Jomtien is well known as a quiet little village but also offers everything needed for a longstay stay.
Jomtien is located about 5 km south of the well-known tourist resort of Pattaya.

From Scandinavia there are direct flights several days a week to Bangkok with Thai Airways & SAS.
Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, take the rental car and then it is about 1.5 hours drive to Jomtien.
One news is that there is now also a bus from Bangkok Airport to the bus terminal in Jomtien which is near Beach Road. The price for the bus trip is about 110 THB (about SEK 35).

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS:

We arrange monthly excursions such as visits to Carvoeiro and Portimao, vineyard visits, hiking in mountain areas etc. Also visits to Monchique and other places of interest along the Algarve coast. Also included in the program are joint dinners with local music and social events.

OUR SERVICE:

Our site managers are responsible for the service to our guests, which includes primarily a welcome meeting and information about the area. They also arrange our activities and excursion programs. Our local representative has direct personal contacts with local health care services in the area if anything happens.
