Fuzeta is a small fishing village less than 10 minutes east of Olhao, which is well known as a genuine small fishing village. Stroll along the quayside and promenade, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, watch – or why not participate in – the old men’s boules matches in the small park, and view the fishing boats with all their equipment in the small harbor. Fuzeta is, in short, an up-and-coming destination where the major tourist streams have not yet reached.

In Fuzeta you live close to the local grocer, fishmonger, baker and butcher in the village. There is also a take-away restaurant for pick-up of delicious grilled chicken – frango, Portugal’s ‘second national dish’. It is a five-minute walk from the accommodation to the nice beach promenade and around the corner you are also close to all cozy restaurants, cafes and bars.
