The Resort:

Modern and fresh accommodation by the sea!

Isla Canela is located overlooking the very nice beach. The apartments are modern and completed in spring 2017. Large, spacious and tastefully furnished with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Of course with fully equipped kitchen, good wifi internet and international TV channels. A very quiet and nice accommodation with nice feeling around the clock!

For guests staying at Isla Canela Beach, it is recommended that guests include our rental car in their program.

The cozy Spanish border town of Ayamonte with its vibrant folk life and abundant restaurant offerings is only 5 minutes away. From Ayamonte you can quickly cross the small ferry to the cozy Portuguese border town of Vila Real.

Ayamonte and Vila Real also have a buzzing crowd and abundant restaurant offerings. By car it takes only a quarter to Castro Marim in Portugal and about 20 – 25 minutes to Tavira in Portugal respectively. A nice lunch outing is suggested to the restaurants down in Isla Canela’s fishing port where you eat your lunch.

Don’t miss visiting the little pearl of Isla del Moral (6 km / 10 min) with its lovely small fish and tapas restaurants right on the water. Very interesting nature areas to visit in the areas around Isla Canela.

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS:

We arrange monthly excursions such as visits to Carvoeiro and Portimao, vineyard visits, hiking in mountain areas etc. Also visits to Monchique and other places of interest along the Algarve coast. Also included in the program are joint dinners with local music and social events.

OUR SERVICE:

Our site managers are responsible for the service to our guests, which includes primarily a welcome meeting and information about the area. They also arrange our activities and excursion programs. Our local representative has direct personal contacts with local health care services in the area if anything happens.
