Islantilla Resort is a modern and pleasant resort with bright nice apartments, fully equipped for self catering. The apartments have 2 bedrooms and 1 large bathroom, spacious living room, full kitchen and balcony. It is only a few minutes to the small town of Islantilla, and down to La Antilla – where there are a number of nice restaurants and cafes along the fine sandy beach where you can walk for miles on the fine beach.

To the cozy border town of Ayamonte in Spain, it takes only 20 minutes with its buzzing folk and abundant restaurant offerings. From there you can quickly make an excursion with the small ferry over to Vila Real de Santo Antonio in Portugal. Until 1992 when the A22 bridge was built, this was the only road between Spain and Portugal. By car it takes only 15 minutes to Castro Marim in Portugal and about 25 minutes to Tavira in Portugal.

Islantilla is close to the beautiful and ecologically interesting nature reserve Doñana – one of Europe’s most important places for migratory birds between Europe and Africa – which is definitely worth a visit. The cultural city of Seville with its fantastic cityscape, flamenco and countless tapas restaurants is considered to be the best in the world – located about 1½ hours east on a good road (13 km).

A nice lunch outing is suggested to the various restaurants down town / village where you eat your lunch almost down the beach. Also, don’t miss visiting Isla Cristina (8 km) with its very interesting daily fish auction which starts every afternoon around 3 pm, here are also many good fish restaurants.
