These cave formations are considered one of Europe’s foremost. To the west is a visit to picturesque Ferragudo to recommend, and if you want a dose of ‘big city pulse’, a visit to the nearby town of Portimão with its wide restaurant and cultural offerings is recommended. The wonderfully known beach of Praia da Rocha is located on the outskirts of Portimão.

Presa de Moura is a 4-star accommodation where you live in a two-storey townhouse with patio, balcony, 2 bedrooms, large bright living room and fully equipped kitchen for long term stay. There are also a limited number of one-bedroom apartments.
The kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Towels and bed linen are provided and changed every 10 days. The area has 24 hour security.

Presa de Moura is located above Carvoeiro with a view of the sea and sparkling green areas. All townhouses are air-conditioned and have a nice patio with tables and chairs adjacent to the living room. There is a outdoor pool with loungers all surrounded by greenery and flowers. A very nice gym and restaurant are on site.
From the accommodation it is about 4 km down to Carvoeiro’s characteristic and beautiful sandy beach and the small town’s cozy center which is filled with restaurants, cafes and small shops.
